Getting to the Golden Grove by:

Bus: Catch Buses 423, 426, 428, in Elizabeth Street and alight at the bus stop on the corner of King and Queen Streets, Newtown, just past Sydney University and Moore College (bus stop required is located between 'The Fresh Basket' and ‘Rocketboy Pizza’).

Train: ‘Newtown’ is the safest walk (20 minutes straight up King Street). Most of the walk is sheltered and level.
The closest train station is ‘MacDonaldtown’ which is only a 10-15 minute walk from Golden Grove. At night, this is not the safest route. It is an up-hill walk and not lit very well.
If you are coming from Central Station, (bus stop is at "Railway Square", Stand L, in George St and it is a 15 minutes bus ride). Alternatively, you can catch the lightrail at "Town Hall" (opposite "St Andrew's Cathedral" and alight at "Railway Square" short walk to bus stop).

Car: Be aware that you cannot enter Forbes Street from Kings Street ( as it is sealed off with trees). Instead, turn into Darlington Street from King Street (which has a small turn bay right), right into Golden Grove Street, right into Wilson Street and then first right into Forbes Street. We are almost to the end of the street, we are on the left-hand side, you will see a long brick fence. We have a small number of spaces.
